Grace O’Malley

Grace O’Malley is an associate attorney at Merel Family Law. She joined the firm as a law clerk and stepped into her current role after passing the bar exam.

Grace graduated from DePaul University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and advertising. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. During law school, she spent a semester as a judicial extern for the Honorable Thomas J. Kelley of the Rolling Meadows Domestic Relations Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, where she saw firsthand how family law cases unfold in the courtroom.

Grace takes a personal approach to family law and is motivated by a desire to help people through some of the most difficult days of their lives. She understands that every family has its own dynamics, and she works to guide clients through the court system while keeping the needs of their family front and center. As her career grows, she looks forward to helping even more families at Merel.

When she is not working, Grace enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and exploring Chicago.
