About Cora Leeuwenburg
Cora attended Loyola University School of Law and practiced as a 711 student-attorney with the school’s Community Law Clinic where she gained experience as a Guardian ad Litem representing children in court. Cora has always been interested in family law due to the intertwinement of various types of law and the intricacies required for successful litigation of family law inside and outside the courtroom.
As a law clerk, Cora gained valuable experience working on high-asset-value cases involving complex financial issues, international custody disputes, maintenance, and child support matters. Upon passing the Illinois State Bar, Cora established herself as an attorney who gets excellent results for her clients, appearing on matters in Cook County and counties across Illinois.
Cora has extensive experience including preparing clients and witnesses for trials, hearings, and depositions. Cora is consistently engaged in the analysis of complex financial matters both pre and post-decree and is dedicated to client contact and maintains a high standard of client communication. She realizes that having understanding and compassion while assisting clients through difficult times is essential.
